Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, has sent its acclaimed art collection to Ireland in 2018. The works will go to Dublin Castle, Skibbereen and Derry for the exhibition Coming Home: Art and the Great Hunger. The exhibition was launched on 6th March by President Michael D Higgins. Scoilnet is a major partner in the exhibition providing an interactive guide of the exhibition. The position of the artwork in the guide roughly reflects the layout of the Coach House gallery in Dublin Castle. The descriptions are pitched at a fifth and sixth class level.

You will also find YouTube videos of Ireland's Great Hunger Museum in Connecticut, a PowerPoint presentation on the Famine in general and a PDF version of the interactive guide.
